Course Overview:

Seerah

Discover the mercy, humility and wisdom of Allah’s final messenger through the major events of his life.

In a Noisy World the First Revelation descends

This workshop will explore the world at the time revelation came down, what the age of jahiliyyah looked like compared to ours, and how the prophet ﷺ and the early Muslims responded to revelation.

Rooted and Unshakeable

This workshop will explore what it means to have a clear identity and how to stay firm on that identity, looking at two monumental occasions in the life of the prophet ﷺ, the Night Journey and the migration to Abyssinia.

When Everything Goes Wrong, Trials in Makkah

The prophet ﷺ experienced many trials and tests in his life, this workshop will cover four major ones experienced in Makkah and share the different responses the prophet ﷺ had to each, teaching us how to respond to our own trials.

We can't do this alone - building the Madinan community

Madina was not just a new home but the groundwork for building a community. This workshop will explore the core things that were established in Madina that enabled the companions to flourish, and for us to reflect on how we might work on these things within our own community.

Success in hearts not in Numbers

Badr was a great victory, however this success came with a few conditions. This workshop will explore those conditions and what they mean for how we prepare for and approach the challenges in our own lives.

Just This Once, the Uhud Experience

Uhud was a unique test for the Muslims, and the core takeaways from it are the love of worldly possessions, the reality that actions have consequences, and the immense value of consultation in decision making.

The Truth, The Gossip, The Slander

The incident of the great slander was one of the most painful trials the Muslim community faced, this workshop will explore how gossip spreads, the devastating impact it has on individuals and communities, and the Quranic response that came to restore truth and dignity.

When it Doesn't Feel Right, the year they were turned back - Hudaybiyah

The Treaty of Hudaybiyah felt like a defeat to the companions, yet Allah called it a clear victory, this workshop will explore what it truly means to submit to Allah’s plan even when it doesn’t make sense to us, and how trust in Allah’s wisdom can reshape the way we respond to life’s disappointments.

I'll Do It Tomorrow - A lesson from Tabuk

The expedition of Tabuk was a defining moment that separated the committed from the complacent, this workshop will use the powerful story of Ka’b ibn Malik to explore the themes of procrastination, honesty with oneself, and the transformative power of sincere tawbah.

Until We Meet

The conquest of Makkah and the final days of the prophet (SAW) mark the completion of his mission and the beginning of ours, this workshop will reflect on the humility and mercy with which he closed his life, the legacy he left behind, and what it means for us to carry that forward until we meet him.

“Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah often.”

(Qur’an 33:21)
